QUICK Vegan Cheeze Sauce 

There’s soooo many vegan cheeze sauce recipes out there. Many of them call for numerous ingredients and it gets pricey! This one uses less that won’t break the bank.

 I found cashews at Target for about $4. The nutritional yeast is another pricey ingredient that I found at Whole Foods. It’s cheap if you buy in bulk. The nutritional yeast that comes in the shaker is never rough and you end up taking many trips to the store. Buying in bulk saves time and money. Anyway, look below for info on how to make yummy vegan cheeze sauce with a few steps! 

It’s a simple equation:







Ok folks that’s the formula to a super quick and cruelty-free cheeze sauce. You start with a food processor or blender. 

Next, get these items:


1/2 tsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp water

2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast

1/4 cup soy milk

1/2 cup cashew

1/4 cup water

2 dashes of salt 

1 dash of pepper


1/4 teaspoon Tumeric

1/4 teaspoon Smoked paprika 

Then, add in your cashews and water. After the water, add in a little soy milk. When the soymilk is added and you have the a non-chunky, water like consistency, add in some nooch (nutritional yeast) and some salt and pepper. Add smoked paprika or chili pepper for extra flavoring. Next add in a little bit of water dissolved cornstarch, then blend it up. 

Once it’s blended or processed well, bring to a pot and warm on medium to low heat. Continue to stir until it thickens. The longer you leave it, the thicker it will be. Add in up to 1/2 tsp of more cornstarch to the same amount of water for thicker sauce. 

Remove from heat and enjoy over pasta, rice, or veggies!

I initially didn’t measure the ingredients when I made this dish. The ingredient measurements are just about precise! Adjust to your personal liking. I prefer a little less nooch but a bit more seasonings than most vegans 😏

Helpful tip: add in about 1/2 teaspoon of tumeric to get that yellow color!!
